James Blunt – 1973 / Unplugged

All the Lost Souls was James Blunt’s second album which was released on 17 September 2007 in the United Kingdom and one day later in North America. It was certified gold in the UK after only four days and sold about 65,000 units in its first week.

The first single from this album, “1973”, was inspired by Blunt’s nights out at Pacha, one of the most famous Ibiza club all around the world, which opened in that year. This song became one hit for Blunt reaching number one the Billboard European Hot 100 Singles chart.

At first I listened to this song, I found it’s an airy tune, but actually it’s not. Combining with the music video, we can saw the sad and lonely on the face of James Blunt. And the lyric was full of memory for the old days. In the previous post, Same Mistake, I had introduced James Blunt. Now, let’s enjoy this version which just played with guitar and piano with 720P resolution which convert from Blu-ray disc by Leawo Blu-ray Ripper.
